The Raccoon Motel is a 200-cap general admission music venue that hosts concerts nearly every night of the week. If there is no show scheduled, it is closed on Sundays. The venue is a standing room, general admission venue. If needed, there are limited folding chairs available.

Well, the Raccoon Motel is kind of a place for anybody. We love the weirdos and the non-weirdos alike. We take all sizes and all varieties. We are a safe and welcoming place for everyone who wants to look at cool old stuff on the walls (or not) and listen to and see some of the best bands in the world.

The Raccoon Motel is located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, in the heart of the Quad Cities. The venue is easily accessible from Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, and Moline.

We don't have any food. We are sorry about that, but we are focused on those drinks you asked about. We have those. We have all the drinks you could want.
What is there to do around this joint?

We are arguably on the hottest block in the entire state of Iowa. Next door we are neighbors with possibly the best record and vintage store combo in the country, Ragged Records/Trash Can Annie's. To our other side is one of the best restaurants in Iowa -- Half Nelson. Next to that is one of the best indie movie houses in the Midwest -- The Last Picture House -- owned and operated by the writers and directors of the hit motion pictures A Quiet Place and Heretic. Across the street are Mississippi River Distillery and Great River Brewery. Within a two block radius are Stompbox Brewing, Loipiez pizza, Mickeys, Armored Gardens, Devon's Complaint Department, The Blackhawk Hotel, a Doubletree hotel, Miss Phay (the best thai restaurant you'll ever have), Modern Woodmen Ballpark (Class A home of the Kansas City Royals and the ballpark continually voted the most beautiful ballpark in America), the Capitol Theatre, the Adler Theater, Blue Spruce Bakery and world renowned Figge Art Museum. So, there are a couple things to do and explore.

Yes. The Raccoon Motel hosts private events including weddings, receptions, birthday parties, reunions, graduation parties, and other celebrations. The space offers a unique setting in downtown Davenport for events that feel personal and memorable.
-
We aren't really a motel per se, but we do have three rooms available to rent out above the venue. There is a 3-bedroom unit and 2-single bedroom units, all with full kitchens, huge living rooms and washer and dryer. You can check availability on Hostaway HERE.

We thought you had em.

Most shows are 21+, but there are occasionally all ages shows, which will be noted on the ticket links. All ages shows have to be finished by 10 pm. All of our afternoon flea markets are all ages.
-
All of our tickets can be purchased at DICE. If shows aren't sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the door, but why take the chance? THERE ARE NO PHYSICAL TICKETS AVAILABLE!
-
Door time is when the doors open and you're able to come into the front bar of the Motel. Typically, barring any timing snafus, soundcheck will already be wrapped up and you'll also be able to enter the venue area. You can grab drinks and find your spot. Music time is when the dang first band/artist starts playing their dang songs. When they do this, it will excite you, even more than when the doors open. But please do come and pre-party with us. We would like that.
-
You'll walk in the front door and see one of our friendly faces there at a tall round table. They'll scan your ticket or sell you a ticket and give you a stamp, smile at you, and tell you to have a great time.
-
There is ample free public parking on the streets in front, behind and around the Raccoon Motel as well as throughout downtown Davenport. Please do mind posted signs that specifically tell you not to park in certain lots because you will get towed slicker than snot. It's hard not to see those signs so it's hard to feel sorry for you if you do get towed slicker than snot.

What do you like? We have it. On any given week, we could have metal, rock and roll, country, folk, hip-hop, emo, screamo and indie all in the span of seven days.
